Sorry, we only provide the Chinese version. 繼上文提及《大憲章》在英國經歷兩次革命性的權力鬥爭後， 幾個世紀內再無重大的發展。而在16 世紀，英國人越洋過海到美國建立新大陸時，Sir Edward Coke 撰寫了首章Virginia Charter，維護殖民地居民作為英國人的權利。賓西法尼亞州的創始人William Penn 也在美國頒布了《大憲章》，保障殖民地居民的人權。
