In order to learn about the development of green and sustainable financing in Hong Kong, the Savantas Policy Institute organized “A Multifaceted View on Green Financing” onsite and online seminar. Dr Stan Ho, experienced investment banking and credit rating expert and university professor, was the guest speaker of the seminar.

Dr Ho began his presentation with the introduction of Green Bond Principles, stating that in order to be rated as market’s best practice, the bond is required to fulfill all of the four core components as well as external review. He then explained the development and attractiveness of Hong Kong green bond market, with case studies of green bond ratings of local and overseas enterprises. During Dr Ho’s presentation, participants enthusiastically joined the discussion.
